Molly Burt, Communication major, '08, began as a Senior Communication Coordinator for Dunkin' Brands and most recently became an Assistant Field Marketing Manager for Dunkin' Donuts in the Rhode Island and Bristol County MA market. Molly took her interest in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Bryant and turned it into a career. She works with franchisees all over the world and is responsible for northeast regional field marketing projects, presentations and brand initiatives.

Erica Lawton, Communication major, '09, is an Account Coordinator at Xenophon Strategies, a strategic communications firm in Washington, DC specializing in public relations, public affairs and crisis communication. While at Bryant, Erica was a standout both academically and professionally; she pursued multiple internships, studied abroad and enriched her passion for communication through the Honors Program. In addition, Erica recently earned an MA in Public Communication at American University.


Shannon Wheeler, Communication major, '09, is Marketing Events Coordinator for Axis Communications, an IP surveillance camera manufacturer located in Chelmsford, MA and headquartered in Lund, Sweden. She is responsible for the planning and implementation of large industry tradeshows and conferences for all of North America, and regularly travels throughout the United States, Canada and Sweden. She graduated from Bryant University in May 2009 with a major in Communication and a minor in Marketing. While at Bryant Shannon was highly involved in the Student Programming Board, where she managed events such as Mr. Bryant and Spring Weekend, and also was the President of the Communication Society. Shannon’s internship experience included promotions, group sales, and conference coordination.

Ben Conn, Communication major, '08, works for the New York Mets as a video coordinator in Buffalo, NY. A four-year member of Bryant's baseball team, upon graduation, Ben landed a position at WHDH in Boston as an assistant producer. Ben pursued his passion for on-air sports and made his way to the Midwest where he covered local and national sports stories for NewsChannel 5, KTMF, in Missoula, MT. Ben reported on everything from fly fishing and hiking, to interviewing former NFL'ers Jake Plummer and Joe Montana. Ben recently moved back East because of an opportunity to work in a Major League baseball front office. He is part of the staff brought in to help turn things around for the NY Mets, though the Red Sox will always be number one in his heart.

Erin Madore, Communication major, '09, sipped her way through the wine world as Managing Editor of Second Glass for several months before moving into a Human Resource position at Liberty Mutual. In Liberty's HR Development Program she found a home for her love of the interpersonal and written communication skills she developed at Bryant. Currently she is in her first rotation on the College Recruiting team and loves the fast paced nature of recruiting and helping strategize for the school season. In September she'll move into her final rotation and looks forward to the upcoming challenges. In her free time she enjoys the creative outlet of blogging at


Mark Dondero, Communication, '08, is a Sports Reporter and Anchor for WCBI-TV in Columbus Mississippi. He started his broadcasting career at WDNN-TV in Dalton Georgia as the Sports Director, Anchor and Reporter. He turned that into a job at the CBS affiliate in Columbus where Mark will cover high school, college and professional sports with an emphasis on Mississippi State University and the Southeastern Conference. Mark enjoys the challenge of having an on-air position and the spontaneity it requires. Mark is originally from Medfield, Massachusetts and among the many things he misses about Bryant, he lists playing Baseball and Salmo near the top of the list.
