Our program, ranked No. 4 in the U.S. by College Factual, prepares students to move their companies ahead of the competition by successfully mobilizing and coordinating resources, all while keeping a close eye on the bottom line. Rigorous coursework offers an understanding of complex managerial issues and ethical practices.   

   

Management at Bryant

College Factual ranks our undergraduate program  No. 4 in the nation. We are known for hands-on, practical projects that focus on strategic management issues, design thinking, service learning, and customer service. We challenge our students to demonstrate their abilities to innovatively manage complex situations through competitions that require them to solve real-world problems.

Within the undergraduate International Business Program, management is one of the functional areas students may choose to concentrate in.

Our faculty members also teach graduate courses that are part of the one-year and two-year MBA programs offered by the Graduate School of Business.

Strategic Affiliations

Each year our students earn recognition and credentials by participating in a wide variety of national competitions and developing presentations for executives at major corporations. These experiences yield networking opportunities, potential inernships and jobs, an enhanced resume, and cash awards.

The funds enable collaborative opportunities with scholars in Brazil (Tebaldi, Economics), Mexico (Visich, Management), and China (Jiang, Management; Zhang, Computer Information Systems).

MBA students transcend the classroom through Global Immersion Experience

This year’s cohort, comprising 37 students and three faculty members, recently returned from Panama, where they met with representatives from Panamanian businesses including: Dell, Panamcham (Pan American Chamber of Commerce), Panama Pacifico, Global Bank, Colon Free Trade Zone, and Grupa Wisa.

The Management Concentration

This path prepares students for managerial leadership in a business environment characterized by continuous change in technology, increasing globalization, and growing diversity. Areas of focus include general management, international management, operations management, global supply chain management, and entrepreneurship.  A minor also is available.

The curriculum integrates coursework wih hands-on and real-world experiences that prepare students for professional certification examinations.
